Memory catch up! Memories 6-8
Memory 6: Saving Tsuna from Invisible Assassins
This memory runs from here through to the end of the following chapter.
WHAT THIS DID:
Not too much actually! There are questions involved, like WHY THE HELL WAS HE SMALL, but overall it's not gonna have too much of an effect other than to boost his confidence. :|a He was able to utilize available tools (Yamamoto is totally a tool okay) to compensate for his huge disadvantage and assist in saving the Tenth, so CLEARLY he is awesome forever and everyone else can suck it. /o/
Other than that it's mostly an infodump of a couple of people he knows and his relationships with them. He knows Kyoko and I-Pin are girls that he knows but typically doesn't deal with, knows he HATES LAMBO and beats him around a lot o9"" and knows Yamamoto is an annoying guy that he totally hates but for some reason hangs around with a lot anyway. >8|a BUT HE DEFINITELY SUCKS!!1
Memory 7: REAPER IS DEAD!!!!1
The memory is just the top right panel on this page with no context given as to what happened or why or anything like that. Just BAM. MUKURO'S CORPSE. ALL BLEEDING AND STUFF.
WHAT THIS DID:
+20 LOYALTY TO REAPER and really that's about it. REAPER IS MY TEAMMATE AND HE'S DEAD I GUESS AND THAT SUCKS AND NOW I WILL PROTECT HIM :FFFF
Memory 8: P-Poison Cooking . . .
This and the following page are a mere TASTE of how horrific and hilarious Gokudera's exposure to poison cooking are. What isn't mentioned in this panel is that Bianchi continued to make poison cooking for him like a loving big sister and forced it on him for the next two years. :'D Her food is known to explode, melt doorknobs, MAKE YOUR BELLYBUTTON SMOKE, and more. HIS LIFE WAS TERROR. And this particular memory covers every single incident of poison cooking during those two years because I'm a terrible person.
WHAT THIS DID:
UPGRADES IN DISTRUST AND DISTASTE FOR AUTHORITY. Even attempts at being nice to him are likely to be met with varying levels of suspicion now. This was his family doing "nice" and "helpful" things, and Bianchi at least meant it very genuinely! She loves her brother! She is just also totally nuts. He also will be highly suspicious of food that isn't either prepackaged and unopened or made by someone he already trusts.
