As a whole: Eh, they're orange. :/ Hasn't talked to many of them often, so doesn't really think of them as a whole yet.
Lucky: Weird, annoying, bitchy. Doesn't really like her but doesn't hate her. Just thinks she's annoying.
Blue Dude: That other guy who got eaten alive.
Black: IS DUMB but he did bring up some good points when they spoke. Is actually interested in some of his ideas about this place and the judges and would like to talk to him again some time.
Rex: some other guy
Pyxis
As a whole: Doesn't know many of them well, but considers them possibly trustworthy thanks to the talk with Blood after the Trickster game.
Scarlet: Doesn't have much opinion on her one way or the other. :| Mildly annoying, but not enough to leave a strong impression. Wouldn't be against talking to her again.
Maroon: hasn't met
Blood: Probably trustworthy! Considers her a very likely ally since she has reason to hate the pink team as well. It helps that he doesn't find her annoying at all either. Would definitely be cool with talking to her again.
Chosen: Has a dumb name. Very annoying. >(
Monoceros
As a whole: Some other team
Rose: hasn't met
Hero: hasn't met
Grandpa: Some old guy
[Sasuke]: hasn't met
Cepheus
As a whole: Most reliable team! Which is really only thanks to Red's efforts at not pissing Scowl off. Considers them one of the best potential allies since Red strikes him as an intelligent guy, and that seems more useful than brute strength to him since he's got Blade for that. :|a
Gold: IS SO DUMB. AND WAY TOO NICE. Torn on feeling like he's a useless idiot and feeling like he's a useless idiot that he should look out for because he's so nice he'll choose to die instead of offing another team. Would not hunt with again, but will tolerate his presence pretty well. :|a Honestly Scowl likes him okay after finding out he'd told Red not to say Uncle at all; it was a very stupid thing to do in his opinion, but he does recognize that it's a purely kind-hearted action. Definitely not a bad person; very trustworthy even if lame.
Red: SMART GUY. Scowl appreciates having someone around that seems to be an intelligant person without being annoying half or all the goddamn time. Respects a lot of what Red has to say about the games and things like that. He's a useful source of information and perspective and seems like a really decent kind of guy. Scowl honestly would not have held it against him at all if he had said Uncle during the game; it's very obvious that he wants to save people whenever he's able to and would've only done it as an absolute last resort. That's a huge amount of points in his favor.
Dusky: Someone Red and Gold talk about sometimes :/
Silver: Some useless guy Red and Gold talk about sometimes. :/
Cygnus:
As a whole: HATE HATE HATE
Grape: BASTARD ON HEARSAY since he hasn't met him but heard that he was responsible for killing someone from another team at a stage that was too premature in Scowl's opinion.
Braid: hasn't met BUT PROBABLY A BASTARD
Joe: HATES FOREVER!!1 This is entirely because, during the Trickster game (game 12) Joe chose to kill Blade and BD without making even the slightest attempt at solving the riddle they were presented with. Logicaly Scowl was well aware the chances of the riddle being solvable were very slim, but they were able to save both teams during the first round. So in his mind there had to be some small chance that they could do the same now. Joe didn't take that chance! And got Blade EATEN ALIVE!!1 And that is why he hates him forever. :| It doesn't matter to him at all that Messenger told them the riddle was unsolvable later. They did not know that at the time. No one knew. \o/ They ASSUMED and gave up any chance, however remote, of saving all three people from a horrible, violent, painful, prolonged death. And that is something he cannot agree with or forgive or understand ever.
Cloud: ALSO HATES FOREVER!!1 HE AGREED WITH JOE SO HE SUCKS TOO. >(
Lepus
As a whole: Overall he finds all of them to be annoying. :| But he also thinks they are a good, kind team who could turn out to be decent allies in time.
Copper: Thinks she's a nice person, but she touched him and that's really annoying >(( Doesn't dislike her, but doesn't like her either. Would tolerate talking with her again as long as she didn't try to hug him again.
Steel: Hasn't met, but has heard he has metal parts. Thinks that's very cool. :|a
Zack: IS VERY DUMB but he likes him anyway. Zack was very determined not to kill Scowl during the Trickster game, and they were paired up in the first round before Blade showed up. So it meant a lot that there was this guy who'd really, seriously try to save both Scowl and his own teammate when he could've just said Uncle instead. He is grateful to Zack for that, and his opinion that Zack is a genuinely good person was only reinforced when he heard later that he chose to die instead of letting someone else be killed in his place the same way Gold did. Definitely a dumb guy, but a good person. Would tolerate him very well at this point.
Bronze: Quiet and annoying. :| Hasn't talked to him except once.
Hydra
As a whole: One of the first things Gokudera learned coming into this place is how important it is to have a unit you can rely on. Going out on a hunt and seeing how fucking big the lizards are and seeing the flesh-eating bugs and all that crazy shit; it was made very clear! Even moreso when the Trickster game came around and he and Blade had to depend wholey on each other to stay alive through the game. (l-lol) So whether he has any kind of emotional attachment to his teammates or not at this point is moot. He knows he needs them. He knows it is very key to keep them on his side, even the useless little kid. He will cut anyone who tries to mess with them. :|
Sparky: He doesn't know her as well as the other two, but she doesn't seem like an irritating presence to him.
Spiky: Varies between being irritating and being a reasonable level-headed sort of person to him. :/ He feels sliiightly more protective towards her because she is so much younger and she doesn't always irritate him. Thinks she's actually one of the more intelligent members of the team aside from himself.
Blade: l-lolo Prior to the Trickster game, Scowl registered Blade as someone who was just dumb. He figured he'd have to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't cause too much of a rift with the other teams. Even though he knows their own team is the most important and where the alliance needs to be the strongest, he also thinks it's important to get along with some of the other teams; they know more about this place and have more memories and useful things like soap. And Blade wasn't keen on that, so he was really the biggest annoyance for Scowl. :| But he tolerated it! Because he still needed to maintain a good relationship with Blade and he knew it.
Theeeen the trickster game happened. Nothing actually changed until the last round, because A) Blade had just saved him from dying and B) he told Blade "I'm not gonna let a teammate die." MOMENTS LATER! BLADE GETS HAHA fun times.
One of Gokudera's core traits in canon is a hatred of failing or losing honor or not following through on his word. He has to do his absolute best, what he says he'll do, and he has to be awesome at it. Even as a child, in one of the flashbacks he talks about having regained his honor from some guys! It is a defining characteristic that becomes more or less intense depending on what it is he feels he's failed at. This is a pretty fucking big one. He's let down a teammate in one of the absolute worst possible ways. They need to be able to rely on each other, and he let Blade down and he died REALLY, REALLY HORRIBLY AS A RESULT. He felt equal parts furious with Joe and furious/guilty/blameful towards himself. Only when he tried to apologize to Blade and sort of express his regret in his retarded way, Blade told him off for it. \o/ WUT DO YOU MEAN YOU SHOULDA DIED U RETARD >((( a-and that really threw him off. He'd been fully expecting to be held at least partly responsible for not saying Uncle earlier. But Blade didn't do that! And seemed to be satisfied knowing that Scowl would've said it before the bugs had a chance to take chunks out of him. It doesn't entirely make sense to him. Blade should be made with him. He should blame him since he blames himself! But he doesn't and doesn't seem like he trusts him any less and. \o/ As a result Scowl's attachment to him has gone up a lot.
Blade saved his life. He didn't blame Scowl for not being able to save his. But he still feels like he should make it up to him, hence the worried stalking while Blade was recovering from coming back to life. He'll be way more tolerant of the guy after this largely because of the guilt he has over the whole ordeal. :( I WON'T FAIL YOU AGAIN TEAMMATE.
